President Donald Trump has chosen Katie Zacharia to serve as the chief White House spokesperson, NPR reported. NPR described her as a devoted fan of Donald Trump and the MAGA movement. [1][8][13]

Before taking the position, Katie Zacharia worked for one of Donald Trump's companies and appeared on conservative-leaning talk shows, NPR reported. NPR noted that she also amplified right-wing conspiracy theories during her media appearances. [1][8]

As FTMQ Politics reported earlier, Donald Trump appointed Katie Zacharia to replace Karoline Leavitt, who left the position in August. Katie Zacharia is an attorney who previously worked for Trump Media and Technology Group, the Department of Homeland Security, and Donald Trump's presidential campaign. [15]

The White House serves as the official residence and workplace of the president of the United States. Located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., it has hosted every American president since 1800. [12]
